What five people, dead or alive, would you choose to have dinner with if you could choose any? Sabrina's list came to fruition when she arrives at her thirtieth birthday party and is greeted by her very distant these days best friend Jessica, her favorite professor from her time spent at UCLA, her ex-fiance, her deceased birth father, and Audrey Hepburn. The reason why these six people are there becomes more apparent as the wine is poured and the food is served. Throughout the novel, flashbacks of Sabrina's life help to reveal the importance of each of these characters. This is a truly remarkable novel of mystery, drama, friendships, family, and most importantly love!
Rebecca Serle's latest novel, The Dinner List was published on September 11th of 2018 by Flatiron Books. Rebecca is a full-time novel writer, who went to the University of Southern California. She received her MFA from the New School in New York City. Rebecca also writes for television and splits her time between New York City and Los Angeles. She most recently co-developed the hit TV adaptation of her young adult series Famous In Love for Freeform. Rebecca loves shiny hair, coffee, yoga, Nancy Meyers films, bathrobes, giving unsolicited relationship advice, and pretending to be British. She, too, experienced heartbreak once. It worked out okay, though, because she turned the experience into a book.
